Day 1 Sep 25 Board your overnight flight to Lisbon today.
Day 2 Sep 26 Arrival in Lisbon, panoramic tour with guide including view of Basilica of the Star, Belem
Tower and Landmark, 25 April Bridge and Marquee of Pombal Square. Alos, we will visit St Jerome's
Monastery (church only). Mass at St Anthony church (to be confirmed). Dinner & overnight in Fatima.
Day 3 Sep 27 Full day in Fatima, famous for the apparitions of our Lady of the Rosary to three
shepherd children: Lucia dos Santos and her two cousins. After morning Mass we are going to visit the
Apparition Chapel, the Basilica that contains the tombs of St. Francisco, St. Jacinta and sister Lucia.
Later we visit the village of Aljustrel and the houses where children used to live. We stop in Valinhos,
where Our Lady appeared on August 19, 1917. We also stop at the places where the Angel of Peace
appeared to the little shepherds in 1916, to prepare them for the future apparitions of the Virgin Mary.
Some free time in the afternoon for individual activities and prayers. After dinner, procession with
candles and overnight.
Day 4 Sep 28 After breakfast, travel to Porto. Porto is a historic and varied city, from the warren of
narrow streets that make up the ancient Ribeira district through to the grand plaza of the Trindade
district. The region is famed for the production of Port, which is still stored and matured in the vast
cellars that stretch along the banks of the Douro River. Guided tour the city of Porto takes us to Porto
cathedral, Porto bridge, etc. Continue to Braga, Portugal for private mass at Bom Jesus do Monte (to
be confirmed). Dinner and overnight in Braga area.
Day 5 Sep 29 After breakfast depart for Santiago de Compostela, where the remains of Saint James,
one of the apostles of Jesus Christ, are buried. Private mass at the Cathedral of Santiago de
Compostela. Afternoon walking tour of the city. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela area.
Day 6 Sep 30 Today we travel to Burgos. Enroute, stop in Leon, home to many churches and cathedrals
noted for their architecture and art. Among them is the Gothic 13th-century Catedral de Léon, with its
towers and flying buttresses, which is one of the three most important Cathedral on The Way of Saint
James (or in Spain, EI Camino de Santiago), along with The Burgos Cathedral and the Cathedral in
Santiage de Campostela. Dinner and overnight in Burgos.
Day 7 Oct 1 Morning, half day walking tour of Burgos, in the past capital of the Castile Kingdom for
almost five hundred years. We visit Cathedral dedicated to Virgin Mary and we celebrate mass. Burgos
Cathedral is a masterpiece of Spanish gothic architecture, declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
Continue to Lourdes. Upon arrival dinner, procession with candles and overnight.
Day 8 Oct 2 Full day in Lourdes. Time to visit the Grotto of Massabielle, two Basilicas and participate in
the Way of the Cross. Time for baths and visit to the “Cachot” where Bernadette lived with her family in
great poverty at the time of apparitions. After dinner procession with candles and overnight.
Day 9 Oct 3 This morning, we head to Andorra. We will stop at Our Lady of Meritxell church in Andorra,
which the patron saint of Andorra. The original statue dated from the late 12th century. However, the
chapel in which it was housed burned down on September 8 1972, and the statue was destroyed. A
replica can be found in the new Meritxell Basilica, designed in 1976 by Ricardo Bofill Taller de
Arquitectura. Then, guided tour to Andorra la Vella, the capital city of Andorra and the largest city, view
Sant Esteve church, built in 11 century. Also, photo stop at other land marks, such as Saint Pere Martir
church, etc. You will have some free time for shopping in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Andorra
area.
Day 10 Oct 4 Morning, travel to Montserrat, we visit enchanting Benedictine monastery in Montserrat
and grounds where we see the Statute of Our Lady of Montserrat or Black Madonna. We celebrate
Mass. Dinner and overnight in Barcelona.
Day 11 Oct 5 After breakfast we enjoy our tour of Barcelona, featuring the Columbus Monument,
elegant tree lined “Ramblas” and Plaza de Catalonia, Paseo de Gracia. Mass. Afternoon, we visit the
famous church of Sagrada Familia and the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia. Dinner & overnight in Barcelona.
Day 12 Oct 6 Morning, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
