Email Scam Targets Archdiocese of Toronto

Today we became aware that people have received fraudulent emails from individuals claiming to be members of Archdiocese of Toronto.

If you receive a suspicious email from someone you know or from someone who is requesting money, please contact them on a trusted phone number to ensure they actually sent the message.

No one from the Archdiocese of Toronto will ask you for iTunes gift cards.

If you receive a suspected scam email from someone claiming to be from the Archdiocese of Toronto, please bring it to the attention of your pastor.
