We invite you to join us in celebrating the Season of Creation (September 1 to October 4). The Church recognizes the ecological challenge facing the world today as a major threat. Responding to this crisis forms an integral part of the Church’s mission. To embrace this mission to which the Lord is calling us, may our hearts be open to contemplate the gift of creation, and our role as stewards to Care for Our Common Home.

Many activities are planned for around the Archdiocese of Toronto, including:

  • September 1: World Day of Prayer for Care of Creation. All parishes are encouraged to celebrate with prayers, reflections and/or readings. See Season of Creation worship resources.
