9,000 Years of Marriage Under One Roof

1,000 guests led by 215 couples celebrating a collective 9,000 years of marriage enjoyed a special get-together on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Woodbridge. The celebration coincided with the Archdiocese of Toronto's annual Marriage Sunday celebrations. Couples celebrating their 25th, 40th, 50th and 60+ wedding anniversaries in 2019 were recognized as part of a special Mass with a blessing and group photos with celebrant, Cardinal Thomas Collins, Archbishop of Toronto.

Special thanks to all those who shared their time and talents to make the event a great success! We also thank all those parishes who organized local Marriage Sunday celebrations.
